How Music Serves Society Music is used in many different ways and plays a huge role in everyones life.  Music is usually seen as an escape from certain problems for different individuals. It is a way humans are able to express themselves without really talking things we go through. Music is that free outlet. In this society, us people turn to music and sometimes begin to feel whole again. It sets the mood in different situations and lets us know that there are other people around the world feeling the same way that we do. Looking deeper into music, the sounds being played behind the lyrics showcase true feeling and the lyrics is what clears things up. Music either puts us deep in our thoughts or gets us up and out of our feelings. Music does not only allow us to express ourselves, it also can bring attention to certain things that are occurring around us today, more of an informational outlook. There are obviously many reasons as to why music is such an important thing in society.  Sam
